Staff Training

We have an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of our service. In order to achieve this, we ensure that our staff adopt best practice methods by undergoing relevant accredited training which is constantly reviewed and monitored.

This not only guarantees an unbeatable service but ongoing support and improvement for those we employ.

With continued training and support throughout each carer’s time at Medical Partnerships, our employees benefit from many developmental programmes we have to offer.

Upon commencing employment with us, all staff undergo mandatory training as part of our compliance with the Care Quality Commission’s Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, which includes training in:

  • Dementia Awareness
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Infection Control
  • Manual Handling and Basic First Aid
  • Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty
  • Safeguarding Adults

All staff also undergo an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service). As a care provider, we have a duty of care to ensure that we safeguard our customers. Safeguarding means protecting people’s health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. This is fundamental to creating a high-quality home care service.
